The Split Flap Desk Clock is a modern take on classic flip displays, featuring six individual dials that mechanically flip to display the current time. The design combines precision engineering with elegant aesthetics, creating a functional timepiece that's as enjoyable to watch as it is to use.

With two dedicated dials for AM/PM indication, this clock brings retro charm to modern desks while demonstrating sophisticated mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

Design Philosophy

The clock face combines minimalist design principles with bold typography. The matte black finish contrasts sharply with the bright flip cards, making the time instantly readable from across the room. Each flap is precisely engineered to ensure smooth, consistent motion with audible confirmation of each flip.

The case design balances form and function, with integrated cable management and a sturdy base that prevents vibration during operation. The transparent acrylic accent panels on the sides allow visitors to glimpse the mechanical magic happening inside.
